ROBERT GHEEWALLA

Co-Founder and Managing Director

Rob is the Co-Founder of Green City.  He has significant experience investing in and developing companies in the media and telecom sectors and overseeing the growth of companies targeting both local and national advertisers. Previously, Rob was a Partner at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he worked for 20 years. At Goldman Sachs, he held senior management positions in the Private Equity, Mezzanine, Senior Loan and Venture Capital investment businesses in GS Merchant Bank. Rob was a member of Goldman Sachs' Global Investment Committee. He has significant international experience as the former Head of Goldman Sachs' Principal Debt Investment Group in Europe. He has served on over a dozen public company and private company boards. Rob earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS from the London School of Economics which he attended on a Fulbright Scholarship, and a BA, summa cum laude in Economics and English from Tufts University. Rob currently serves on the Board of Directors of My Sisters' Place, a non-profit organization that works to end domestic violence.  Rob is currently a member of the Board of Advisors for the Tufts University School of Arts & Sciences.
